Exceptional Performance University Scholarship

The Kaplan Business School Exceptional Performance University Scholarship is different to our other Scholarship awards. It is only available to KBS students in Year 2 and 3 of their degree course. This scholarship award does not require an application to be made by the student. Instead it is awarded by the KBS Scholarship Awards Panel to students who display exceptional performance in their course assessments (summer exam phase).

What level of Scholarship will I receive?

Under the KBS Exceptional Performance Scholarship you may receive a one time only award of up to £1,000. Students can only be awarded this scholarship once their time as a KBS student.

Can I apply for the Exceptional Performance University Scholarship?

There is no requirement for a student to apply for this Scholarship, on gaining your assessment results the KBS Scholarship Awards Panel will select students that qualify for this award and they will be informed of the award of the scholarship. To be considered for this award a candidate must:

Candidates must have been enrolled with KBS in the academic year that is being assessed and have been continually enrolled since first commencing study at KBS.
Candidates must not been found to have breached any of the KBS terms and conditions whilst a student at KBS.

Scholarship Assessment Criteria

The following criteria will be used by the KBS Scholarship Awards Panel to determine if an award is appropriate and the level of any award.

Students will need to have an overall attendance record of 85% or above
Students will need to have scored an average of at least 70% in the summer examinations across 4 subjects.

How do I apply for the Exceptional Performance University Scholarship?

Students will be automatically assessed for the KBS Exceptional Performance University Scholarship upon KBS receiving the summer assessment exam results directly from the University of London.

What happens next?

If you qualify for the KBS Exceptional Performance Scholarship you will be notified by the admission team within seven days of the summer assessment results being released.
