Course overview

The BSc (Hons) Business course is for anyone who has an interest in how a business works and would like to learn more about how a business functions as a whole. It is useful for those wishing to manage their own business, as well as those who would like to work within a business, in a specific department. It is particularly useful for those who would like to go into business management due to its strong social science content.

The course focuses on the key functional areas in business, whilst also equipping students with the core skills they require in business as a whole. Students will study four modules per year over two semesters consisting of a combination of core and optional modules.

Why study at KBS?

Our BSc (Hons) Business degree course is designed to give future business professionals all the knowledge and skills they need in order to progress into their careers. Our small class sizes and the willingness of our teaching staff to help students outside of the classroom means that students get maximum support. Our academic staff are experts in their fields and many have practical experience of working in industry.

In addition, Kaplan has links with some of the top firms and businesses in the City of London, and trains many of their future employees. Working closely with these firms, we know what qualities they are looking for in their new recruits.  Our Careers Service, which is headed up by a former City recruiter, is dedicated to finding our students opportunities to gain experience and connections in their chosen industry.
