Kaplan Business School Campus
Our excellent city centre location and state of the art premises help to create a sense of community at our Kaplan Business School campus. Our modern facilities include a breakout area for socialising, a Professional Resource Centre for private study and a well-stocked careers office.
The building facilitates our personal approach of smaller class sizes, providing a collaborative and social learning environment. We maintain an open door policy to all students and have achieved this through establishing both our administrative and academic offices within the main area of the campus making them easily accessible.
Administration offices
Our administration office team covers a number of functions from compiling the course timetables, ensuring course materials are available, organising assessments and being the key point for the hand in and collection of projects.
The main administration office is located on the third floor of the campus. A receptionist is usually on the front desk to deal with enquiries, but if not, students can ring a bell for immediate assistance. We are available for student queries during office hours and can help with day-to-day administration tasks, as well as providing advice and information on the local area such as where the nearest doctors or dentist can be found.
Our campus also uses plasma screens in the main reception area with notices for students, reminders of deadlines, highlighting matters arising that day, or inviting you to upcoming social events.
Tutors offices
Our tutors' offices are situated near the main student area of the campus, making tutors very accessible. We want every student to feel comfortable knocking on a tutor’s door and asking for help or advice at any time.
If tutors are away from the office they will leave a note to this effect on the board outside their room, giving you the opportunity to decide if you wish to seek help from another tutor. All tutors also have a pigeon hole, which students can use to leave notes or hand in assignments if the tutor is not available at that particular time.
