University Scholarships from Kaplan Business School

Kaplan Business School offer a number of different university scholarships which promote and reward academic excellence.  In addition to this, Kaplan Business School also offer two full university scholarships per academic year in partnership with The Brokerage Citylink; these scholarships reward academic excellence from a widening participation background. Our university scholarship awards are offered in the form of a reduction in tuition fees rather than a cash payment, which means the financial burden of higher education is reduced.

Our university scholarships are reviewed on a continual basis and details of the scholarships we are currently offering can be found below.

KBS UK/EU Scholarship

KBS International Scholarship

KBS Exceptional Performance Scholarship

KBS Brokerage Citylink Scholarship

Whilst each scholarship has specific regulations which you should read before applying, there is also some general information you need to know about all of them.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

  • Scholarships are awarded for the duration of the course (usually 3 years, with the exception of the Exceptional Performance Scholarship), but are reviewed on the basis of criteria fulfilment each academic year.
  • Failure to participate fully in the course with an attendance level of less than 85% may result in the withdrawal or reduction of your university scholarship part way through the course.
  • Failure to make satisfactory progress through the course may result in the withdrawal or reduction of your university scholarship part way through the course.
  • Scholarships are currently only available to students applying for study in 2012.
  • Scholarships are awarded in place of; and not in conjunction with any other financial support, reward or incentive offered by KBS.
  • Students may only be in receipt of one scholarship award at any given time.
  • Scholarship awards are not automatic and once the scholarship fund has been exhausted no further awards will be offered.
  • Scholarship awards are given on a first come first served basis, candidates should be aware that there is limited availability, as such all applicants may not receive a scholarship award.
  • All Kaplan Business School scholarships are only applicable to the KBS tuition fee, they cannot be used to reduce fees by partner universities and are non transferable.

What level of Scholarship will I receive?

The level of award you receive will be dependent upon which university scholarship you apply for and the decision of the Kaplan Business School Scholarship Awards Panel who will assess your application. Our scholarship awards panel consists of our Head of School, Dean of Business, Dean of Law, Programme leader, Head of Admissions and Head of Student Recruitment.

How do I apply for a Scholarship?

Candidates will only be assessed for a scholarships award once KBS are in receipt of a formal application to study. In addition to completing the KBS application form, candidates will need to submit a completed form. The deadline for scholarship applications is 17 September 2012. Retrospective applications for scholarship awards will not be accepted. Only scholarship awards applied for before 17 September 2012 and before any payment has been made to KBS for tuition fees will be considered.

Candidates who make a university scholarship application on the basis of predicted grades will need to show evidence of their final results before any award is confirmed. Candidates will be informed of the outcome of their scholarship application within 14 days of submission.
